Excellent TV Stand
I needed a low profile stand to hide wires as well as provide ventilation for my components, and there is no better stand than this. Its open shelving lets you place larger or smaller components as needed- those stands with predetermined shelving limit your placement- both horizontally and vertically. I feel the wood quality is great, especially for the price, and the glass sides and top are what you see- not wood. This is sturdy and well made, easily holding all the weight of my heavy center channel on top, and my heavy AVR in the middle shelf.
I modified my stand some. I cut out the cable holes in the back to let more air flow and easier cable management. I used one inch standoffs from a glass-and-steel old TV stand to elevate the top glass shelf, so that heat from my components on the middle shelf easily escapes. To help support the heavy middle glass shelf, I cut a yard stick from Lowes to the exact length, paint it flat black, and stand it up under the middle shelf. You can't see it and there is absolutely no sagging of the middle shelf with my heavy components.
This is a great TV stand, nice and low so as not to block my projector screen, and it hides all the wires easily, holds all of my odd shaped equipment. I recommend this highly.

Great stand, slight quality issues
I shopped for a "plain," nice-looking TV stand for long time. So many stands look too fancy for their own good (read: ugly). This one looks just right and has plenty of space and an ADJUSTABLE middle shelf (rare), so your larger components and center speaker can fit.
I ordered mine from The Simple TV Store. The box arrived really bashed up, but the contents were well packed inside and were fine. One corner of the largest piece was dinged, but a little bit of black permanent marker hid the damage. The box also arrived without a manual but I downloaded it from Sanus's web site.
Assembly was terrific. Everything fit without a problem. I did it myself in under an hour with just a screwdriver.
The only real, but minor, quality issues are:
1. When inserting the last two wooden pegs in the top of the stand (to hold the glass top in place), the wood around BOTH peg holes split slightly. The damage is hidden by the glass. This is clearly Sanus's design mistake.
2. The two smallest screw holes (for holding the metal bar in place) were stripped. The screws hold anyway (sort of), and there's a heavy glass top on them, so it's not really a problem.
3. The adjustable glass shelf is a tight fit getting it in. While doing this, the shelf just barely touched the wooden frame and scraped off a square centimeter of black paint, leaving bare wood showing. Again, permanent magic marker hid the damage.
Tip: When installing the feet (step 1), stick some felt pads on the bottoms. That way, the stand slides nicely over your wooden floor without damaging it.
Overall I'm satisfied with the quality for the price.
