The SANUS Foundations Component Series CFR115 AV rack solution comes fully loaded to simplify ordering, offering the ultimate in quality and flexibility. This sturdy rack offers up to 15U of space, including two 1U shelves, two 3U shelves, two 1U blanking panels and two 2U blanking panels for up to 500 lbs of AV gear. Features heavy-gauge welded steel construction, adjustable feet for easy leveling, and swivel casters for 360º access. Concealed venting lets heated air flow out of the top while cool air is drawn in, and removable sides and vented back panels allow additional airflow to keep components cool. A lockable tempered-glass door with a quarter-turn handle provides security while maintaining component visibility. Sanus Component Rack
The rack is well made and is heavy. I would recommend letting someone help you move it into place. Overall quality is great. It is made of steel and is solid. I like it because it looks like a stylish computer rack. Me being in I.T. that was cool. I like the fact that it locks, however the sides and rear access panels are not lockable. I was looking forward to having the unit completely secured to keep the kids from monkeying with my expensive AV equipment. (Thus the 4 rating on the features part). The shelves are easily moved by removing the screws etc. an repositioning them in the rack. There are vent points here and there around the unit. I purchased a Niles FM1 cooling unit for my AV equipment. I plan on putting this on top of my Onkyo NR807 and let it "suck" the heat up and out. Only draw back is that it isnt as "pretty" as a wife may desire. But if it is in your "man cave" why not??
