So disappointing
I have to agree with the other reviews. The locking mechanism does not secure the brush plate to the wall at all…almost like it was made for thicker drywall. We had to screw the plate to the wall to secure it.

Horrible Product
Did not lock to the back of the drywall. There is no way to properly secure it tight to the wall. The instructions were brief and non descriptive. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do not waste your money. You are better off leaving a hole in your wall.

Pros: Cheap (price)
Cons: Cheap(quality)
I would not recommend this product. The template they give for the cutout is way too big and the tabs that are supposed to hold it to the drywall snap just following the installation instructions. It is not held securely to the wall and is a waste of money.

Would not recommend
Purchased this in wall cable concealer kit and followed the instructions very closely. The cutout template provided makes the hole in the wall too big to secure the mounting plates. The plates move so easily and are not secure at all. I would not recommend this product and wish it was more secure considering I have already cut out wholes in my wall.

The lock tabs broke
I just bought it and when I was installing it the lock tab broke and I had to tape it to get it to stay in the wall.

Fine for low-voltage cables.
Installs and functions exactly as specified in the instructions, but (contrary to the caption on the manufacturer's web site) NOT for power cables. For power cables, you need a UL-approved receptacle competently wired in a code-compliant manner.
