BMF220 - pros and cons
I installed the BMF220 mount this morning, allowing myself plenty of time, as I anticipated some problems along the way (and there were a few). Example (as others have pointed out) in Step by Step instructions: 1. Assemble: it shows parts X, Y and S (they don't look like anything like anything that comes with the parts) "Each component has a number and designation. See Page 6" - Page 6: There is no part labeled X, Y or S, making the instructions seem like absolute nonsense. The instructions do contain nonsense, but also, they contain some good pointers; you just have to pay attention to what you want to do and sometimes the instructions will help you with that, sometimes they wont.
The biggest issue I ran into is that on the heightfinder web page (https://www.sanus.com/en_US/heightfinder/results/lg-electronics/42/42PC5D/bmf220-b1/centered/35/0/in), it doesn't account for a mounting a soundbar underneath (which 19/20 people, including me, have). So, however high you plan to mount, you need to add 4-7" for the soundbar. I measured and measured and measured, trying to figure out exactly where the mount exactly was going to fall on the back of the TV, then compensate for the soundbar. That took about an hour, and after I drilled the holes and mounted the TV, it was too low. I figured 45", I needed about 48". So, I took off the mount, re-drilled the holes, and got it where it should have been.
Other than that, it was fairly simple. Mount the brace to the TV, assemble the wall mount, and snap it into place. The tilting and leveling instructions worked great. I'm a DIY guy, but I had some doubts about this. It wasn't quite as bad as I thought. I would recommend.

Awful “easy” instructions
I have 2 other TV mounts in my house that were easy to install. The 3 steps for this are way to vague. There are no markings on the TV bracket to show which way should face up. The wall bracket makes no sense. I don’t want to drive all the way back to Best Buy to return this, so I’ll jist deal with it. But I do not recommend this to anyone.

Decent mount but disappointed with a key feature
I recently purchased a 43" Samsung curved TV and I was trying to find a wall mount for the corner of my bedroom. I debated between the Sanus Simplicity (SMF115), which was $58.99 at a local wholesale store and the Sanus Premium Series (BMF220), which was $179.99 at Best Buy. Both mounts were full motion mounts, but the Premium Series BMF220 mount stated it could extend about 5" further AND the bracket had a lateral shift feature. According to the BMF220 feature video on the Sanus' website, at the 40 second mark, it says "after installation you can easily adjust your TV for perfect position" and it shows the TV and extension arm being easily moved along the bracket plate. Based on this feature alone, I decided to spend the extra money on this mount. I had someone help me install it and while we were finishing installing the mount, I was disappointed to read (p.26) that the arm does NOT simply move on the bracket as it was described in the video. In order to move the arm along the bracket, you have to remove the TV from the arm, remove the cover strips, loosen the locking screw with a hex key, slide the arm to the desired position, tighten locking screws, and reattach the cover strips and then reattach the TV. This isn't exactly "easy." Unfortunately, I have multiple health conditions, so when I purchased this mount in particular, I bought it based on the assumption that it would be easy for me to use. I can't simply remove the TV from the arm and reattach it, so if I had known the TV and arm didn't slide on the bracket as described in the video, I wouldn't have purchased it. I also had issues with the TV screws and spacers that were included, when I tried following the instructions, the screws were too short in the bottom holes. However, this issue may've been the result of the curved TV. Samsung included wall mount adapters, so I used those instead and those worked. I do think the Sanus' mount is made from solid materials, however I feel as though this product isn't accurately described. I believe the cable management feature is nice and it reduces clutter.
