Easy to assemble!
I bought this AFTER I bought another brand. The other brand had my 43" TV sitting too high - it wasn't stable and my wife didn't like the way it looked in our room.
I happened to see this model at Target and, after reading the product manual, thought it might be a better option. It wasn't as cheap as the other model, but you get what you pay for. The Sanus VSTV! assembled very easily. It is well made and very stable. It also allows my TV to sit just 4" above it's base, which my wife likes much better.
TIP - There are two set screws on the back to keep the TV from slipping off the mount. I recommend
1. Remove the bottom half of the mounting column from the top half (four screws)
2. Attach the base to the bottom half of the mounting column.
3. Attach the bracket to the top half of the mounting column.
4. Mount the rails on the TV.
5. Insert the mounting bracket into the rails on the TV.
6. Center the TV on the bracket
7. Tighten the two lock screws on the mounting rails (need phillips head screw driver) so they're snug agains the mounting bracket.
8. Insert top half of mounting column (which is now attached to the TV) into the bottom half of the mounting column. Adjust for the desired height. Tighten four screws connecting bottom half of column to top half.

Best table stand up to 60" TV/Monitor
I needed a stand (not a wall mount) for a 55" TCL TV in a guest room. I tried several other mfgs stands and they all did not meet the requirements of solid stand, no tipping, swivels easily but stays in place, well constructed and just does the job. The Sanus was the only one out of nine different stands.
I would have given five stars but for the price.

I bought one in 2019 and one in 2023, both from Crutchfield. Both were for 43 inch Samsung tvs. The 2019 needed additional bolts due to the shape of the tv, but the 2023 tv has a flat back. Very happy with both, very stable and my wife loves the swivel feature.

This is the one to get!
I connected this swivel mount to my Sony 55 inch Bravia tv without any problems. Nice and heavy, well engineered and makes me want to take it apart and re assemble it just because it was easy and fun.Get it or be square man.I would recommend this stand to a friend, but not an enemy.

Did not fit
I bought this after one of the legs on my TV broke. I thought this would be the solution to my problem but it wasn’t. None of the screws that came with it fit into the back of the tv. They were either too short or too long.

Works Great
While this TV stand ended up great in the end, we could not mount our tv to it with the screws provided (55” Samsung). However we went to Lowe’s to pick up screws and all is good. The extra hassle just sucked.

Highly recommended!
Bought a Sanus because of the great ratings for all their TV mounts. We needed a swivel mount and chose this model because the combined movement angle is over 70 degrees. Sanus has another swivel model but beware the angle advertised is the combinination of both left and right. We were concerned about its compact design but the mount is very stable for our 52" Samsung and one finger can move it easily. One person can assemble it but two is best. Instructions are easy to follow. Very glad we chose Sanus.

Great Design
Wanted to put a soundbar under a 55" Sony TV but not possible with the stand supplied with the television. Sales clerk pointed to this and mentioned adjustable height, so I bought one. It is very solid, finished well and all but the foot pads are metal. It comes with many different screws and spacers and two allen wrenches to tighten any of them. The screws I used are better than the screws that were already on the TV. Placed a Bose Soundbar 500 below TV and the two soundbar feet sit on the pedestal with two inches to spare. The swivel was not a feature that I was looking for but have used it to move something large by the TV and of course, if you have most viewers sitting off center you can swivel it a bit to face them directly.
