Great Purchase
This is a great product offered by Sanus just like the rest of their products. I own some now and have had before. Sanus makes top notch quality products, this is for the products I own, I am sure you all will agree. Materials that are used with Sanus products are durable and have good feel to it. VLT5 is detailed and well designed product, so hands down 5 STAR.

easy to install
easy to install, only slight issue is the plastic cover for the bottom half of mount would not stay on. but who see's that anyway. easy to tilt. not sure why the strings to remove the unit hang down so far. i adjusted them an still could see them. i used double sided tape to secure them behind the tv. all good. purchased at sears. was not sure if this would fit my 55 inch samsung, but it went on easy. help desk answered my questions.

First Experience With A Wall Mount.
If you have never installed a wall mount before, you might be a little apprehensive. With this unit, you don’t have to be. Pick your spot, follow the directions and you are done. The template makes it all work! Thanks Sanus for making a great product!

Easy to install, I thought the little metal stick was missing, however I found it because it was magnetize and sticking to the screws.

Not sure if it's worth it.
I did a lot of research looking for a tv so I wanted the best mount for it. Sanus name kept popping up so I bought one. Geek Squad installed this mount so take it for what it's worth. I have personally used them for other technical help, e.g., computers, and have been very satisfied but this was the first for a tv install. Anyway the installers had to cut the spacers in half because he said the screws that came in the box weren't long enough to go thru a spacer and I into the tv. Another disappointing feature are the release cords that unhook the tv from the mount. They just dangle from the back of the tv well below the bottom of tv. Funny how none of the pictures show that. For the money, I thought it would be more. Lastly, trying to register the product, it calls for a lot number. No idea what that is.

Best TV Mount I've ever bought - Strong and STURDY
This TV mount is flawless in every way. It's incredibly strong and very easy to install. I usually don't write reviews but thought it would be important for everyone to know that this mount is highly recommended from the TV sales folks where I purchased my TV (at Abt). I was doing a lot of research and am completely satisfied as it's very sleek and hugs the wall firmly. I have complete peace of mind knowing that my tv is safe - along with my baby who likes to pull down on everything possible. Will be buying another one for my TV downstairs! A+ product.

Installation is surprisingly simple
Very easy to install. You really don't even need instructions as the look of all of the parts is very straight forward. The only thing that I ran into was the that bolts were too long without spacers and too short with the spacers. I solved this problem by hack-sawing off about 3/8" on the spacers, and then everything worked great and tightened up perfectly! I did not use the template. I found it easier to determine the height, and then drill the first hole and screw in the bolt. Then I hung the wall bracket on the first bolt, leveled the bracket and drilled for the second bolt. I found the "heightfinder" tool online to be very helpful in establishing a base line. I ended up raising the TV 2" higher than the "heightfinder" recommendation, but the "heightfinder" is a great place to start in determining how high the bracket should be. All in all this went quite well and I am very pleased with the final results!

easy install but had to buy different bolts
Install is very easy in drywall covered stud wall. Template works great. Had to go to hardware store to buy longer machine screws to connect brackets to 55" Samsung TV. 1-800 installation help number was a big help! No long wait and got an accurate answer (longer machine screws).

In-SANUS-ly easy to install!!!
For the money, hands down, easiest mount out there. Comes with all the tools with clear, easy instructions. Took me an hour, by myself, from start to finish. That includes measuring, reading, and the occasional bathroom break. A pro could do this in half that time, or less. That's how easy this is to install. Great Product!!!

Rock Solid, Best Mount for the $'s
This was my install #5 of a large flat-screen, and my biggest so far - 70" LCD, but this mount made it a breeze - I just wish I had bought it earlier for my other efforts. High-quality, excellent and clear instructions, easiest install ever. I'll never look at another mount in the future - Sanus VLT-5 is the bomb!
