From B&Q on offer at £25 box said for 47 -80 tv but mine was 40 " it fitted very well I was most impressed thanks for a very good product

You Get What You Pay For - Good Quality & Value
I really like this LF228 mount!
You get what you pay for - good quality, features, flexibility, and value.
I just installed one today in a challenging location. A niche above a fireplace mantel. The niche is 46" wide x 24" deep, and the mantel projects 8" from the face of the wall, so the mount is installed in kind of a "hole" with limited access.
I installed a 46" LCD, leaving 3" on each side and 4" from the bottom of the TV to the surface of the mantel. I put my faith in the Sanus Height Finder and was worried right up until I attached the TV bracket (prior to attaching the bracket to the TV just to be on the safe side) to the arm assembly and I was pleased with the result. I didn't really use the installation instructions except to identify the various components. The installation video is great!
I've installed a few of the Sanus the VMDD26 Articulating Dual-Arm Mounts and I really liked them. When I searched for this model I discovered its been discontinued, so I ordered the LF228. I would highly recommend it!

Well Built Mount
I found the mount relatively easy to install but lacking in flexibility. I used the height finder to locate the position by giving the model number of the TV. After mounting and installing the 50# TV, the location resulted in a position that was lower by about 1 inch. I suspect that the height finder software provided by Sanus did not take into account the weight of the TV. I removed the TV and measured the height of the end of the arm and repeated the measurment with the TV in position. Sure enough there was a one inch difference. The wall bracket did not move during this measurement.
The reason that this was critical for me was that I was installing the TV within a surround cabinet mounted to the same wall as the Sanus mount.
I would suggest that users working with critical dimensions take this into account.
Other than that, this is a great mount.
Too bad that it is not made in the USA.

Electrical Outlet
Nowhere in the instructions do they tell you NOT to have an electrical outlet directly behind the wall mount. By doing so your arm assembly will not fit due to the face plate of your outlet and or electrical wire etc. Either recess your outlet flush with the wall and have limited left to right movement or have your outlet covers outside the mount area.

Full Motion Mount!!!!
This mount is one of the industries with the longest arm to pull out! makes a WOW for the client when he can actually pull it out that much and still is a strong not sloppy one!!!

my friend and I hung this mount, it took us about 3hr for the frist time. my apartment is 14 by 14.it works real well ! it needs a shelf on the mount so it will swivel with the tv. for a dvr or a vcr/ dvd player.
